About Traditions of Hanover
“Independent Living? I already live independently. Why do I need Traditions of Hanover?” You may ask that question. People have asked me the same thing. My answer is that you may not NEED Traditions, but there are many reasons you should consider it.
For many seniors, maintaining their home becomes burdensome, and the daily chores of life, like cooking and cleaning, can feel all-consuming. At Traditions, we serve both a noon and evening meal in our dining room daily. Residents may choose to take advantage of that meal or cook for themselves in their apartments, but a healthy, nutritious meal to enjoy with neighbors and friends is always an option. Monthly rent includes weekly housekeeping and a flat linen service. Traditions offers a maintenance-free environment, which allows seniors the opportunity to do more of the things they like to do, rather than the things they HAVE to do. Residents leave their shovels, rakes, and vacuum cleaners behind!
With a full-time Resident Services Director, the community offers opportunities to learn new things, meet new people, and keep growing. Living with others your own age, socializing at meals and community events, and taking advantage of the many common areas at Traditions, including a library, fitness center, and theater, make it easy to live life to the fullest.
The peace of mind for friends and family, knowing that their loved one is someplace safe and that help is always available if needed, is also reassuring.
After sharing all this information, I asked the gentleman if he saw the value of what Traditions offered. It was his turn to smile at me, and he admitted that he could. We are so happy that we found Traditions of Hanover. Mom absolutely loves it! We were impressed from the moment we walked in. The employees ~ from the marketing person to the dining room servers are like a ray of sunshine! Now that Mom has moved in we almost can't get a hold of her, they keep her so busy with all the activities! This place has a very friendly and social atmosphere, and all of the residents seem happy. The food is also great! We'd definitely recommend taking a look at Traditions.
